Jay Rapoport is the director of URJ 6 Points Creative Arts Academy. Prior to joining the URJ, he served as the Director of Lifelong Learning at Temple Sholom of Chicago in Lakeview, where he lives with his wife and two children. He spent seven summers on the faculty of URJ Camp OSRUI, and 17 summers before that as the songleader and then director of Camp Rodef Shalom. Originally from the Washington, DC area, Jay is also a composer of three albums of original Jewish music: "With All Your Heart," "They Tried to Get us, We Won, Let's Rock!" and his latest, released in 2022, "Attitude of Gratitude."
